Emu Oil

There are a number of highly refined, clear-filtered emu oil products in the marketplace today. Many of these processing techniques produces clear, virtually odorless oil that has the eye appeal needed for certain cosmetics, yet we believe it lacks the therapeutic properties of our processing recipe. Fatty acid properties are changed or destroyed in many high-temperature refining techniques. Our processing recipe however, has taken the best of the Aboriginal techniques and combined them with the best of USDA standards, to produce the highest quality, low-temperature processed emu oil available. This oil retains the maximum level of therapeutic effectiveness and activity while conforming to some of the strictest processing standards.

Our pre-rendering and final processing never exposes the oil to elevated temperatures that can result in trans-fatty acid production. The oil is also processed in high quality stainless steel vats that never allows the oil to be exposed to oxygen, (since exposure to oxygen can produce peroxides as a by product of the oxidation of the essential fatty acids). Our oil is deodorized by passing it through a rose filter. This leaves the oil with a fresh scent, without the need of chemical washes, excessive temperatures or fragrance additives.

Our oil meets all current standards set by the A.E.A., and has been tested and shown to be bacteria free. Additionally, when analyzed by an independent laboratory, our product has higher levels of oleic acid than any other oil that we have sampled. This, we believe, is responsible for the quicker, more thorough penetration of our oil into the skin.

Finally, our oil quality is consistent, assured and certified, by maintaining strict quality control procedures and comes with product liability insurance coverage. Certificates of Analysis and MSDS (material safety data sheets) are available and can be furnished upon request.
